fully responsive, glassmorphism-styled Django pharmacy management system with
Point of Sale, inventory (manufacture & expiry tracking), medicine departments,
customer management, and reports.
- Barcode scanning— a `barcode` field on each medicine. Works with:
- USB/Bluetooth scanners — they type the code + Enter, so just scan into any
barcode field (POS "Scan Barcode" box, or the barcode field on Add Medicine).
- Camera scanning — click the camera icon to open a live scanner (uses your
device's webcam/phone camera, no extra hardware needed).
- In POS, a scan instantly adds the matching medicine to the cart.
- In Inventory, scanning on the medicine list opens the medicine if the
barcode is known, or takes you to "Add Medicine" with the barcode pre-filled
if it's new.
- Point of Sale (POS) — live medicine search, cart, discounts, multiple payment
methods, automatic FEFO (first-expiry-first-out) stock deduction, printable receipt.
- Inventory — medicines, dosage categories, suppliers, and batches with
manufacture date + expiry date tracking. Stock and reorder-level indicators.
- Mfg & Expiry Tracker — a dedicated page grouping batches into Expired /
Near-Expiry / Healthy, with a configurable look-ahead window (30/90/180 days).
- Medicine Departments — organize the catalog by clinical department
(Cardiology, Pediatrics, etc.) with medicine counts.
- Customers — profiles, purchase history, and loyalty points earned per sale.
- Reports — sales report (date range, by day, by payment method, top items),
stock valuation report, expiry/loss report, and department-wise performance.
-Glassmorphism UI — frosted glass cards/nav, dark teal gradient background
with mint/blue/amber accents, fully responsive (desktop sidebar + mobile
offcanvas menu), Space Grotesk / Inter / JetBrains Mono type system.
- Django Admin panel enabled for power-user data management.
